Continuing Professional Education Credit (CPE)

Certified and licensed accountants as well as other licensed tax practitioners are required to keep their accounting and tax knowledge updated to keep abreast of changing laws and regulations.  Certifying agencies mandate that practitioners take courses each year to earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.  The number of annual required credits generally ranges between 24 and 32.

ASIA is your home for earning CPE credits; we offer various seminars throughout the year to include business tax updates, 1040 tax in depth, Ethics, ACA, social security, just to name a few. Our seminars are priced attractively and fairly; lunch is included in most full day seminars. Our speakers are knowledgeable and entertaining and the seminars come with course materials; the books are comprehensive and make for a great reference guide when you need answers at a later date.

In January of each year, ASIA sponsors an annual tax seminar which provides a minimum of 24 hours of CPE credit for attendees.

The annual State Convention, held in September of each year, offer members additional opportunity to expand their knowledge of taxation, accounting, management skills, and other topics of concern. This seminar also offers attendees up to 12 CPE credit. Informal business meetings offer members through-out the state an opportunity to interact with fellow professionals residing in other areas.

You will be notified in ample time to register for these ASIA sponsored events; this can be accomplished online through our new user-friendly website or by downloading the brochure and mailing it in with your fee.
